Tackling Youth Unemployment through Agriculture
The rate of unemployment in the country is alarming. Unemployment can be addressed by making youths realize they have innate potential that can be used for meaningful activities.
The Dandani Youth Empowerment Programme encourages youths to take charge of their lives by helping them discover what they have a passion for; Those who have an interest in farming are encouraged to join the Dandani out-grower programme.
Dandani Out-Grower Programme
In this programme we sponsor youths to grow chicks/broilers in just 7 weeks and resell to Dandani Farms at a profit. This keeps youths busy and provides them with a source of income. At the same time takes them out of crime and use of dangerous substances.
